Placement of nursing professionals – mission statement and services offered
HANS LEUTENEGGER GmbH recruits qualified nursing staff from the Philippines and supports their relocation and integration in Germany. We are duly recognised and accredited by the Philippine regulatory authority responsible for the licensing of skilled workers recruited from abroad, the DMW (Department of Migrant Workers).
Filipino nursing staff
The nursing staff all have a degree in ‘Bachelor of Sience in Nursing’ (state-recognised nurses) in the Philippines. They also have several years of professional experience in Germany and abroad and have attended a language school, where they completed the language certificate telc B2 in German.
Fair Recruitment Mission Statement
‘By obliging everyone to work, everyone has an equal interest in seeing that three conditions are met at work. Firstly, that the work is moderate in terms of time... secondly, that it is as pleasant as possible and offers variety... thirdly, that it is as productive as possible, because the amount of work and the amount of enjoyment depend equally on it.’
August Bebel, 1840-1913
Policy statement on ethical recruitment of nurses
Hans Leutenegger GmbH is committed to recruiting health and care personnel in accordance with the international standards of the World Health Organization (WHO). An essential part of this commitment is strict adherence to the WHO Global Code of Practice on the International Recruitment of Health Personnel.
This code is based on ensuring fair and ethical recruitment of healthcare professionals, particularly in countries affected by a shortage of health workers. Hans Leutenegger GmbH therefore expressly undertakes not to recruit nursing staff from countries that are on the WHO Health Workforce Support and Safeguards List. This list includes states whose health systems are particularly vulnerable due to staff shortages. Enticing skilled workers away from these countries could significantly weaken local healthcare.
By adhering to this Global Code of Conduct, Hans Leutenegger GmbH not only protects the healthcare systems in these countries, but also promotes fair and sustainable recruitment practices. This is an important part of our responsibility to the international community and is consistent with our core ethical values.

Our work is characterised by people who are able to develop their skills freely, because only independent action and the targeted use of expertise by each individual employee[1] ultimately contribute to mutual success.
